Can you imagine me baking cheesecake? Oh yeah. You'll have believe it. A box of it is sitting right in my fridge, waiting for tomorrow's consumption. Hehe. Went over to Sophia's house to putter around in the kitchen, messing up her utensils and ultimately her stove and sink. Hehe. Guessed we masked our intentions of creating chaos at her house with cheesecake. Ooh. Heavenly cheesecake. Woot. Never a better chance to play cards too, since we had to wait for the cheesecake to "cool to set" (Sophia's quote). Eh, hard to find time for us to squat around in the kitchen to play bridge ok. Ok la, I'm exaggerating. More like gathering round her dining table and hutching over a set of cards. Lazy afternoon.
Last day of June today! Can't believe month of June has come and gone. Too fast. And I'm what, starting school in about 2 to 3 weeks' time? Nah, too fast. Argh. Will have to move into hostel pretty soon, gonna miss my desktop. *sniffles* New environment, new faces, new characters. Not really gonna be used to it, definitely. University life scares me to the pits. Seriously. Have you thought that in 4 years' time you will have to leave school life to join the working community? I'm still young at heart.
And all this time during teenage school life, you'd think working is easier than schooling. You bet I was one of those disillusioned brats. University is both frightening and exciting. Oh yeah, exciting, when you talk about living out of your home alone, having wild midnight parties, rushing to the bathroom you share with dozen others brushing teeth in front of a mirror. Frightening? You can imagine it probably, thank you very much.
Argh. July tomorrow!

I know this is weird, but blogging late at night is better than any other time of the day. Just probably don't have the energy for it. Yeah. Getting sleepy all the time. I'll think of a deeper blog entry next time. Probably tomorrow night.
Gonna sleep early. Cheese cake galore tomorrow!

Ok, backtrack. Haven't blogged since er, a week+ ago. Yeah, simple plain laziness. =X
I went out to shop last Monday! Woot! Haven't went on a shopping craze for a very long time. And everything was on 50% discount. *drools* Anyway, I just made myself sound like a bimbo. Who cares, I like to shop. Bought about 4 articles, and 2 of them were birthday gifts, complimentary from Sophia and gang. ^_^ So nice, I was shopping without credits! Cool huh?
Last saturday was that Maple GM event thing at Orchard Cine. Huge turnover. Man, the queue was long. Lucky we took the easy way out. Went for lunch first at this cafe I never knew existed. Er... Friends Cafe at lvl 5 Cine. Hmm. I never noticed that place before. Oh well, lunch was good ole linguine with thick tomato pasta sauce. Nothing special, but I like that cafe. Good for relaxing around with friends.
The event was pretty cool. We sorta unwittingly cut queue, and were admitted to the event very quickly. Hehe. Had to wait for the batch before us to clear the place first though. Actually it was nothing much, we were seated in the lan room, then asked to login to Maple and take part in some lame Maple game. Lol. We actually won some stuff. Oh well. And I was thinking, why can't we play it at home?
Anyway, kinda looking forward to next month, since hostel days are coming up, not to mention school is starting too. >:)

Ah. I lead a simple life. Nothing else to say.
Come to think of it, blogging now at the moment is just for the sake of blogging. I need a life.

I haven't blogged for a week! Freaking forgetful. Oh well. There's nothing to blog anyway, unless u count gaming eventful. I mean, since when do I don't game anyway?
Anyway, been trapped at home this week, not counting the days I went out for movies. I mean, 2 movies in a row for 2 days... I'm breaking my own record. 'My boyfriend is Type B' on monday, and 'Mr and Mrs Smith' on tuesday. Woot!
Hmm, realised I stopped being very descriptive about my days spent. Very brief outline of my schedule. Yeah. Too lazy to type out the entire chunk. I mean, it can get very boring using the same few letters on the keyboard right? Right.

I just got the boot! Woot. Finally gonna stop working. Wahaha. Time for shopping and gaming! XD~ Cool.
Finally went to watch Madagascar yesterday. Kinda lame, but I thought the ending was abrupt. Bad, not really THAT bad, but yeah, it's a kids show, supposed to entertain a kid. Fine.
Next movie, Mr & Mrs Smith! *drools*

I dreamed I had an INTERVIEW WITH GOD.
"So you would like to interview me?" God asked.
"If you had the time," I said.
GOD smiled.
"My time is eternity...
what questions do you have in mind for me?"
"What surprises you most about humankind?"
GOD answered...
"That they get bored with childhood,
they rush to grow up,
and then long to be children again."
"That they lose their health to make money...
and then lose their money to restore their health."
"That by thinking furiously about the future,
they forget the present,
such that they live in neither the present nor the future."
"That they live as if they will never die,
and die as though they had never lived."
GOD'S hand took mine
and we were silent for a while.
And then I asked,
"As a parent, what are some of life's lessons
you want your children to learn?"
"To learn they cannot make anyone love them.
All they can do is let themselves be loved."
"To learn that it is not good
to compare themselves to others."
"To learn to forgive by practicing forgiveness."
"To learn that it only takes a few seconds
to open profound wounds in those they love,
and it can take many years to heal them."
"To learn that a rich person is not one who has the most,
but is one who needs the least."
"To learn that there are people who love them deeply,
but simply do not yet know how
to express or show their feelings."
"To learn that two people can look at the same thing
and see it differently."
"To learn that it is not enough that they forgive one another,
but they must also forgive themselves."
"Thank you for your time," I said humbly.
"Is there anything else you'd like your children to know?"
GOD smiled and said...
"Just know that I am here."
"Always."

I'm living beside a volcano. So periliously close, I can't breathe with all the ash it's spewing out. The dense fog is choking all of us alive. I just pray it doesn't worsen and explode.

Was supposed to meet Sophia and the rest for dinner, but as usual I'm always the earliest, so went to the Orchard MRT Popular to look around, and guess what I bought. 2 classics. I think I'm so stunned by myself. Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens and A Midsummer Night's Dream by Shakespeare. Lol. Yeah. Totally out of the world. Aiya, 2 books for $9.50 ma, so cheap~ Hehe. Decided to catch up with reading. I read most of Charles Dickens' books when I was young, but I kinda forgot stuff, so it's a good time to refresh my memory.
I think we can never escape Cafe Cartel. Deliberately arranged to meet at Orchard where there's no Cartel, but we just had to walk to Cineleisure to eat there. So lame. It's really a lifetime of eating Cartel with my gang of people. Lol. Stuffed ourselves with good food, plus dessert. Woot, haven't had proper good ole western meals in a long time.
Shopped for a while, bought a Billabong skirt I'm so damned pleased with, plus the Giordano belt I've been eyeing for quite some time. Heh. I think it's been a long time since I splurged on anything. XD
